Original Podcast Series
An especially gratifying side project: this podcast our agency created with CBS News.

I was the principal writer on this project, and I named and co-developed the show. I wrote the majority of the episodes, editing the rest and advising other writers on form and narrative. From our earliest brainstorms to my latest production notes, I've felt creative ownership over this podcast at every step of the way.

I'm especially proud of leveraging my cultural instincts to help provide us with a slate of relevant and compelling subjects to profile. I wrote the pilot episode about Dolly Parton, and initially, I had to defend that choice, until the network agreed with our team that she was both timely and timeless and signed off on the series. In the year following that decision, Dolly released a book, a Netflix series, a holiday album, and made a significant donation towards the development of the Moderna vaccine. Timely and timeless!
