Rubi holds a Bachelor's and Master’s in English and American Literature, with a minor in Creative Writing, from New York University. There, her short fiction was selected for readings at the historic Lillian Vernon Creative Writers House on more than one occasion, and her graduate thesis earned the express compliments of the program's director.

She has served as the Director of Content Development at Oxford Road and Associate Creative Director at Veritone One, both of which have at one time been the world's largest podcast agency and category leader in audio and creator-based advertising. She's directed marketing content at both agencies, including the content strategy and copy for the Oxford Road website and not one, but two, iterations of the Veritone One website.

As a creative, she has ideated and produced advertising assets for over 150 brands with over $1B in cumulative spend, including Amazon, HelloFresh, Molina Healthcare, and DraftKings. She has done this in two languages so far, but she would attempt a third if the opportunity presented itself.

She has also lent her talents to various ad hoc projects, such as developing and writing an original podcast in collaboration with CBS News; co-developing and producing an original podcast series featuring guests like Ira Glass and Guy Raz; and leading the creative charge for Veritone One's first-ever smart speaker skill integration.

Rubi is based in Los Angeles and always wears sunscreen. She is obsessed with words and prides herself on her ability to use them incisively and artfully. Occasionally, in a context such as this one, she might sacrifice brevity for clarity. She can also write in the third person as necessary.
